Orders under $120.00 will be charged based on the following price range:

$10.00 - $60.00 = $9.95 shipping

$60.01 - $119.99 = $12.95 shipping

The shipping fee is calculated after all other variables on the order page.

We only ship within the USA.  UPS is our main shipping method, but we may use USPS, depending on the circumstances (size, weight and destination).

You should receive your order within 4 to 10 business days. Holiday seasons, large orders, custom items, special orders and out of stock items may take longer.

TAXES:  NO sales tax will be applied if ordering outside of Washington State.  If ordering from within Washington State, you will be charged an additional 8.6% sales tax.

You may return any item you are dissatisfied with within 30 days of purchase, for a full refund, minus shipping.  We would prefer that you come visit us again as a happy customer, knowing that if you're not satisfied with whatever you purchase from us, that you can return it and get your money back. Please contact us for information on returning a product prior to doing so.

It is suggested that you try on a backpack before you use it in order to get a full refund.  Items returned without all of the original packaging or has been used could result in a 15% - 30% restock fee.

Additionaly, returning an item without first contacting us for a R.A.# (Return Authorization number) will be subject to a minimum 15% restock fee. This fee is not included within the other restock fees.

If cancelling an order, please do so within 24 hours of the original order to get a full refund, otherwise shipping and handling charges may be deducted from the refund.  Please contact support@hikingbackpackstore.com to cancel an order.

Our purchasing department is second to none in the industry.  Our systems control back orders and keep them to a minimum for your convenience. Customer satisfaction is our primary goal.  If an item you purchased is backordered, we will contact you with further instructions.
