The Solitude pack has been on high demand, so Alps designed a similar model, the Alps Mountaineering Solitude Plus 3100 backpack, to compliment the Solitude's popular features. The biggest addition to the Solitude Plus are its large zippered size pockets. The Solitude Plus has adjustable shoulder straps and a removable padded waist belt so you can adjust your pack to fit your body and ensure that it will be comfortable no matter what kind of trip you are going on. There is a large, main compartment with #10 zippers, a front zippered pocket, 2 side mesh pockets, and 2 zippered side pockets, making it easy to organize your gear and keep certain items handy. The side compression straps also make it easy to carry along an extra jacket when the weather is unpredictable. The Solitude Plus is a great pack to bring along whether you're going on a 2-3 day hiking trip or traveling through the airport and need a carry on pack.
